What's your shipping and processing time?

* Holiday Drop will be 4-6 weeks of delivery time.

Please allow 2-3 weeks for me to prepare them as the dice you see are raw. I need to sand and ink your custom color and then polish. I don't rush and I try my best to get things done in reasonable timeline. I am currently full-time mom with a baby. My only work time is 2 hours after baby's bedtime each day. 

How do I choose my ink color?

You can choose ink color on the listing, drop down to choose blank, pre-inked, or custom and I will ink them and polish them before ship.

Blank: Dice will be sanded and polished, just not inked. 

Pre-inked: Dice will be inked in color I have chosen and stated in the listing. For example, you will find in my listing "numbers inked in gold" 

Custom: You enter your custom inking request. For example, "pale shimmering blue," "antique gold," "intense magenta," etc. 

Can I change my ink color after purchase?

Shoot me a message or email at joanna@ribbonandknot.com. I will let you know if I have already inked them or not.

I am an international buyer outside of US. Do I need to pay custom? Why is the shipping fee so high?

Yes. Currently, international buyers pay their own custom. Unfortunately, shipping internationally from US is just darn expensive. I feel sorry, but money is not going into my pocket. I try my best to make your purchase worthwhile. 

If the website calculated an insane amount for your shipping (like over US $25) just message me. I can check into it for you to make sure it's accurate. I can refund you extra shipping if needed. I am looking at solutions that might work better for international buyers. Stay tuned. 

The dice I want has sold out, will they restock the next drop?

Maybe, maybe not. It depends on the design. I try to restock a couple best sellers and a handful of new designs each dice drop. 

Do you do custom dice commissions?

I currently do not do custom dice commissions. It is to reduce my mental load and stress. Custom dice commissions involve a lot of back and forth communication. I am currently at my max mental load with a young child and I simply cannot handle more decision making than I already do! 😆 

I also don't like to disappoint anyone. I am currently sticking to creating dice as a joy. So even if a design I made didn't sell, I am making them for myself. 

However, I am always happy to take idea requests. You can definitely message me and say, "I would love a set with Fuji Mountain!" for example, and I can think about incorporating it to my next drop. 

How soon do your dice sell out?

Last two drops sold out 70% within 24 hours. Completely sold out after 48 hours. I am putting out a little more sets out this round. I get a lot of messages afterwards asking me they wished to buy, but too late. So please set up a timer or reminder. I am not doing this to create hype, just to give you a realistic estimate. If you want a set, don't hesitate and leave them in the cart. They will be sold out!

For dice that are not sold out, I will take them off site after a couple of weeks to clear my mind and focus on the next collection. 

How frequently do you drop dice?

Hoping for monthly or every 6 weeks. Schedule may change due to my personal situation. 

 

 Dice Accessories FAQ

I am allergic to a lot of jewelry. What are your chains and parts made of?
Nickel allergy is one of the most common causes of allergic contact dermatitis. I use nickel free products that have been processed to resist allergies and tarnish. This includes earrings and necklace chains. However, if you have known allergy towards plated jewelry, you can request sterling silver, gold-filled or even solid precious metals. Please contact me for pricing.

What can I customize? 

Almost everything! I take customization on every order. For D&D products, you can write in your preferred dice color, chain length to me in the "note to seller section"

I see a design that is posted on your Instagram, but not here?

I have siginificantly simplified the products I carry. It might not be listed because it's a custom order, part of a new collection or past collection that I no longer make. Please send me a picture of the design you see and I will give you a price and availability of the item.

I am a shop, do you do wholesale?

Yes! I do wholesale too! Contact me for details.

I need this order rushed. Do you do rush order?

Yes! Let me know when do you need it and I will let you know if a rush fee is required. I try to accommodate everyone's gifting plans as much as possible. It is harder when I have a lot of orders since I am making things by hand. Each necklace or earring take time to make. Just let me know through messaging. I usually reply very fast unless we have time difference (then you will wait until I wake up and see it)

Shipping FAQ

How much is shipping?

* Holiday Fee increase by $0.50 for US packages, and $3-5 for international. It is a fee increase implemented by postal office, not by me.  

Within US: 

Economy $4.99 (  5-7 business days) 

Standard $7.99 ( 3-5 business days) 

Express: $11.99 (1-2 business days) 

International: 

On average (depending on location) it is about $20 to $25. I know, it's so expensive! Unfortunately, shipping internationally from US is just darn expensive. I feel sorry, but money is not going into my pocket.

International package takes up to 2-4 weeks to deliver depending on location. 

Tracking is included. 

My item says it is shipped, but tracking has not started after a couple of days?

I ship the packages when within 24 hours of creating the label. However, sometimes the post office employee does not scan the package properly. I have noticed this especially with my smaller packages. So they won't get scanned until they reach the next facility. I would give about 3-5 days, if tracking still doesn't show, please reach out to me. I will try to figure out what's going on. For holiday seasons, this happens more frequently. Don't hesitate to reach out. 

I still haven't received my product after xx days. Is it lost?

If you have received a notification that the order is shipped, but haven't received it after 2 weeks for US or 3 weeks for international, please check the tracking status and notify me. There are several common reasons:

1. Address is wrong, it's being returned to sender
2. International orders are held at custom
3. Holiday season postal delays

Please track the status of your shipping and if there is a issue with postal office, I will definitely try everything I can to help out.

My order shows as "delivered," but it's not in my mailbox! 
If your order shows delivered, but not in your mailbox, please allow time to:

- check around your residence to see if it is somewhere unexpected (front door, porch, etc)

- it may have been delivered to your neighbor, allow a couple days for them to return it to you.

If nothing after 2 days, I would contact your local postal office and report missing mail. Contact me too to let me know.
